Inga From Sweden

This is awful, and hilarious all at the same time. I saw it on some other blog but couldn't remember which one. Anyway, YouTube saved me!

  1. Hej man, sorry I got online just now. Hehehe,,as you said this video is really hilarious, and yes it sucks big time. Must be a badly made parody or what? I don't know but I hope this does not get popular as this will be another case of bad portrayal of Swedish women.

  3. I just found your site while looking for more information on -inga from sweden- and i came upon this http://www.aftonbladet.se/nojesliv/tv/dokusapa/article222418.ab
Turns out her names not inga, ha...actually she performed recently in göteborg. I myself am a Canadian that is studying in stockholm at KTH.
You have an amazing country here. I am really enjoying myself. Where are you based? Cheers Oz.

  6. Agreed. rap music sucks. often times people forget that it is spelled with a silent c in front. crap. alright bad joke but rap is not good. Inga from Sweden however is glorious.

  8. oh wow... that one is pretty ridiculous. and hilarious that it says that it may not be suitable for minors. it's just bikini girls.

  9. I think "Ouch" is the right word for assessing "Inga from Sweden." Perhaps when my great-grandparents emigrated from Sweden they had some inkling that Inga was foreordained, so they decided to be "from Sweden" that much earlier. ;-)

But Inga is titillating. Perhaps she will become "Inga to Japan"?

  11. This reminds me of Victoria Silvstedt's music video I saw playing on Swedish TV in 2001 or so. It was pretty much the exact same level of quality.

  12. I had no idea that Victoria Silvstedt had a music video. Someone want to dig up a youtube clip of that?

  13. Well Victoria is missing the swedish accent...

  14. i love inga! myself, mom, and sister quote this song and her xxxmas song all the time. the ridiculous music makes us happy and laugh. it's obviously awful but that's what makes it so good. love you inga!

  16. That's one sad thing about Sweden: the music. Don't get me wrong, I think Sweden is a great place, but disco never died there. It's a shame really. They seem to dig it though, so whatever works for them. It'd just be nice to see some change of pace in their pop music. Good thing other countries produce music too :)

  17. Swedes love their schlager. Unfortunately.

  18. I dont know where you are from but you need to check your facts. Inga from Sweden is hilarious but she is indeed NOT SWEDISH..Her name is Helene Rask and she is NORWEIGAN. Still making fun of Swedish stereotypes, but don't blame her for her voice and style until you have seen the music she made as herself.

  19. Addition; She is a Norweigan nude model known from FHM and more...

  20. oh Frida... you seem to have missed the forest for the trees. She could be from South Africa for all I care. Its hilarious and thats all that matters.
